The service conv2pdf.com is really useful to quickly convert documents to PDF format. I used it for instance to convert some Words document to PDF. And I found the results very good. There are other tools like FreePDF that can be used to produce freely PDF file. But they require the installation of additional softwares (including Ghostscript).

As reported by many blogs ( Read-Write,  Last100) Amazon DRM-Free music store is opened. I haven’t tried it yet, but this is a very good news. There is a Top 100 albums at 8.99 $ or less.

Sign-up new writely account is open since yesterday (August 17th 2006). Then I sign-up for a new account and trying to publish to my WordPress blog using writely. The interface is simple yet full of features. There are 2 levels of menu at the top. The features that I found interesting are:

  • The ability to edit the document as HTML
  • Publish the document in a Blog
  • Revision management: This might be very useful, as you may recover the amazing idea that you wrote 1h ago and deleted 15 minutes ago :-)
