Ars Technica published some interesting statistics. There is more users with Windows 7 than Vista (respectively 20.87 % and 12.11 of total Windows users).

One other surprising statistic, is the fact that there are more users with IE8 than IE 7 (Respectively 33.02% and 8.76%)

And afterwards, it is possible to explore the whole image in a convenient way. This may be true on Windows but on Linux it’s still a pain.

CNET published a very interesting review of all the available alternatives products (either free or paid) to Microsoft Office. The product reviewed are:

The table available here summarize the CNET rating, price and features (included the supported Operating Systems). The 2 products gettings the best ratings after Microsoft are Google Docs & Spreadsheets  and  ThinkFree Office 3.
