I came accross 2 good 2007 Best albums review publications that may be use to discover independent artist:

  • Yahoo Music Blog: Top 100 albums of 2007 by Robert of the Radish. I discovered in this list for instance 100 Days 100 Nights by Sharon Jones.

snarkerati published a great list of 50 Dystopian Movies. Their definition of a dystopia is:

A dystopia is a fictional society that is the antithesis or complete opposite of a utopia, an ideal world with a perfect social, political and technological infrastructure. Therefore a dystopia is an imaginary place or state in which the condition of life is extremely bad, as from deprivation, oppression, or terror.

I didn’t see all the films in the list, but I really like some of them:

Web Conferencing applicatons starts to be very popular in big companies. They offer the ability to share presentations accross different locations. They also help support teams to interact with customers. For instance those software may be used to remotely control Customer’s PC to solve problems. All Conference Services published a review of 7 Web Conferencing services.  In this list I only used 2 of those products: WebEx and Microsoft LiveMeeting. None of these services are free.

And a few day ago, I discovered that ZOHO offers now a free Web Conferencing service. I didn’t try it yet but the demo looks really interesting. All the usual features seems to be available even the remote control capability.
