Insightful reading about the Financial Crisis

This is by far the most comprehensive article that I read about the Financial Crisis. It’s long but it’s worth reading. It’s the first author (that I read so far) that looks at this crisis with a historical perspective. Therefore we learn that crisis is the corollary of finance. I will probably come back to comment more on this article.

Last week end I experienced a hard disk crash. And now I must re-install my PC. During this process I came across OSalt.com. This site present shortly the main commercial software and their open source alternatives. It’s a good way to discover Open Source software. The same kind of site listing freeware alternatives would be also great.
