Next Big Sound a startup that tracks online popularity of music and artists published a study called ” 2011 State of Online Music”:

The 2011 State of Online Music report includes major trends and highlights from 2011: overall consumption numbers, top networks and their most popular artists and days, the top 50 artists of 2011, as well as artists that progressed from our predictive Next Big Sound chart to our popularity leaderboard, the Social 50.

Nirsoft released an utility to search for files  in Windows. The tools is very powerful as it offers many options as shown on the screenshot below:

SearchMyFiles is an alternative to the standard “Search For Files And Folders” module of Windows. It allows you to easily search files in your system by wildcard, by last modified/created/last accessed time, by file attributes, by file content (text or binary search), and by the file size. SearchMyFiles allows you to make a very accurate search that cannot be done with Windows search. For Example: You can search all files created in the last 10 minutes with size between 500 and 700 bytes. 
After you made a search, you can select one or more files, and save the list into text/html/csv/xml file, or copy the list to the clipboard.

BBC News published a very interesting chart to explain the euro crisis. And the root cause is private debts, no public debts. It looks like the ECB didn’t do its job well, and the Euro was to cheap in the period 2000-2010. The full chart is available after the jump.

Currently almost everybody seems to be knowing what the European Central Bank has to do to solve the European sovereign debt crisis. There is a game that allows to verify your central banker skills (link below). The game is available for both Web and iPhone. The goa is to set interest rate to limit inflation around 2%.
