I’m an end user, and huge fan of Linux Mint. A new version was just released a few days ago from the time of this writing (Feb 12 – 2010): Linux Mint 10. I think it will be the new “Ubuntu”. It is fantastic. Auto-installs flawlessly with a beautiful interface, comes standard with Adobe's Flash plugin and RAR, and is frankly quite snappy. My question is this: Is it going to get some coverage? Are any of the corporate game makers going to start providing more support for the Linux platform? If they were tinkering on the edge of a decision, I would think consumers/users could surely influence their decision. I would highly recommend putting a little energy forth to ensure we have their attention on this matter. Take some time.. Write to the editors of online magazines and what-not. The Linux community would surely thank you. ;)
