Upgrade to OpenSuse 11.1

Today, I upgrade my Linux partition at home from OpenSuse 10.3 to OpenSuse 11.1. This upgrade was the easiest solution to be able to use Python 2.6. And I must say that it was really straightforward. I just burned a Lived CD of version 11.1 and Re-install. The only drawback is that there is no upgrade when using the Live CD. You must you the DVD for that. But anyway for me it wasn’t an issue. The root  partition has been reformated but everything on the home partition has been kept untouched: So no need to re-install Firefox extensions for instance. I’m starting to see little need to keep a windows partition. I still have this Pocket PC PDA and I still don’t know how to print properly on Linux.
